ASE2000 Test Set Support   The ASE Test Set is a full-featured protocol test unit that provides the user with a powerful and flexible tool for testing and maintaining RTU and IED equipment and diagnosing communication problems. The ASE 2000 Test Set is capable of simulating Master, RTU and act in a listen in mode. The ASE2000 test set allows you to capture and trouble shoot intermittent communication problems. In order to provide the best customer support, for problems relating to serial data communications, SUBNET suggests that one of its PC-based Communication Test Sets be available to capture communication sessions between the master and slave devices. Utilizing the Test Set's line monitoring capability, data from communication sessions can be captured to disk and e mailed to our support personnel for analysis. These data files usually allow SUBNET to immediately identify and duplicate field conditions, and to greatly reduce the time required to identify and respond to problems.
