ase2000_doc.zip (1.7 MB) - ASE2000 Communication Test Set documentation, ZIP file format. All documentation files are Word 97 format. This download includes the following documents:

This documentation is used with both the Standard Version and the Trial Version of the ASE2000 software. Trial Version users should be sure to read the Trial Version Introduction before attempting to load and use the Trail Version software.

ASE2000 Test Set I/O Drivers (Windows 95 / 98 / ME / NT 4.0)

pcmciadrv.zip (130 KB) - Windows NT 4.0, Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows ME I/O drivers for the ASE PCMCIA I/O card. This driver is used in conjunction with ASE2000-PCM-M and ASE2000-PCM-RS model test sets.

 bcom28drv.zip (130 KB) - Windows NT 4.0, Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows ME I/O drivers for the ASE BCOM2 I/O card. This driver is used in conjunction with ASE2000-BCOM-M and ASE2000-BCOM-RS model test sets.

rainbowdrv.zip (3.2 MB) - Windows NT 4.0, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP I/O driver for the Rainbow Sentinel Security Plug. This driver is used in conjunction with ASE2000-COM model test sets.
UnZIP the downloaded file onto a floppy to create a Driver Installation Disk and specify the floppy drive when prompted by Windows for the location of the I/O driver.

ASE2000 Test Set I/O Drivers (Windows 2000 / XP)

win2kpcmciadrv.zip (61 KB) - Windows 2000 and Windows XP I/O driver for the ASE PCMCIA I/O card. This driver is used in conjunction with ASE2000-PCM-M and ASE2000-PCM-RS model test sets.
win2kbcom2drv.zip (62 KB) - Windows 2000 and Windows XP I/O driver for the ASE BCOM2 I/O card. This driver is used in conjunction with ASE2000-BCOM-M and ASE2000-BCOM-RS model test sets.

 rainbowdrv.zip (3.2 MB) - Windows NT 4.0, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP I/O driver for the Rainbow Sentinel Security Plug. This driver is used in conjunction with ASE2000-COM model test sets.

!!! Windows 2000 / XP Drivers - PLEASE NOTE !!!
The drivers are not "signed" by Microsoft and, depending on the security settings of your system, this could prevent installation, generate a warning, or allow installation. The default is to generate a warning. We have sent some questions to Microsoft about this process, but have not yet received an answer.
