SUBNET Solutions Inc.
(SUBNET) and Applied Systems Engineering Inc. (ASE) have entered into a
cooperative relationship covering product development, sales and marketing
of ASE2000. By combining the strengths of both companies there
will be a very high level of product development and customer service with
the ASE2000 product line. SUBNET is also offering in depth training
courses on the ASE2000 Test Set.
About the ASE2000 Test Set
For over a decade the ASE protocol and communication test products have been used worldwide by RTU and IED equipment manufactures, electric power utilities, and SCADA system vendors. In 1999 the ASE2000 version of the Communication Test Set was released, which upgraded the earlier DOS versions of the ASE Test Set (Comm/32 and Comm/64 versions). The ASE2000 is a true 32-bit Windows application that retains all the functionality of the earlier model ASE Test Sets and includes many new features which enhance the data viewing, test setup, and test function capabilities of the unit.
With the cooperative relationship between SUBNET and ASE we are able to
provide a total solution approach to the area of protocol test equipment
with ASE2000. With the largest base of supported
protocols in the industry (90+), most orders can be filled immediately.
Adding support for previously unsupported protocols (continuously ongoing
activity) typically adds only one to two weeks to delivery time. One
protocol (customer choice) is included in the price of each unit. Additional
protocols can be purchased at any time for $250.
